current BIOS V 1.06C:
Solved problems:
- Systems equipped with a CPU which runs on FSB 667MHz cannot resume from
stand by mode if the silent mode is enabled. This issue is now fixed.
Known errors, problems and restrictions:
- If setting a BIOS password and choosing “Discard changes & exit”
the password will be kept anyway.
- The system can not reach the highest CPU frequency in battery mode
(protection function and power saving):
e.g. Intel Core Duo T2300 runs at maximal 1.66GHz in AC-mode;
in battery mode only 1.33GHz are available.
- An error message will appear if the system is resuming from standby mode
and a virtual operating system (VM Ware) is running in parallel.
The reason therefore is that VT cannot resume from standby mode.
Investigations regarding this problem are ongoing.
Additional information:
- Support for audio codecs ALC883/ALC861 has been implemented.
- The µ- codes for Intel Merom B2 stepping processors have been added.
- The BIOS can also be flashed in windows environment by using “L50II0_106.exe.
