current BIOS R01-A1G:
Solved problems:
- none
Known errors, problems and restrictions:
- The MS event viewer sporadically reports an “ACPIEC” error at system error
records.
This only occurs if the system is under heavy load (e.g. stresstest).
But it does not influence the system´s reliablility or performance.
- After finishing BIOS flash in DOS mode the system is automatically rebooting.
But before entering the BIOS’ POST screen it will automatically shut down.
This only occurs with the first reboot after BIOS has been updated in DOS
environment.
- If a supervisor password is set and the BIOS setup is left by choosing the
option "Exit Discard Changes" the password will still persist.
Additional information:
- Support for WinXP-64bit OS to switch between external display devices (TFT,
CRT & TV).
- Support new AMD E stepping processors:
Mobile Athlon 64 4000+ (62W), Turion ML42 (35W), Turion MT40 (25W)
Update the CPU code for AMD E6 stepping Sempron processors.
- The DOS BIOS flash procedure contains an AC adapter interrogation;
that means that the flash procedure will only start if an AC- adapter is
connected. If no AC- adapter is connected a message will hint to plug an
AC adapter to the system.
- The BIOS can also be flashed by „WinFlash_R01-A1G.exe“ under WinXP
environment.
The system will automatically reboot after finishing the Windows based BIOS
flash.
