BIOS Flash update in DOS-mode: ---------------------------------- After running the AW37A1D.EXE the floppy disk should contain following files: flash.bat iflash.f01 phlash16.exe R01-A1D.rom R01-A1D.wph f44.exe readme.txt (this file) readme.bat To flash your BIOS boot in DOS-mode and run flash.bat from the floppy disk. II. BIOS Flash update from WINDOWS: ------------------------------------- Download the WinFlash_R01-A1D.zip and save it at the WINDOWS desktop, unzip the file into a folder of your choice. !!Close all programms and applications!! To flash your BIOS run WinFlash_R01-A1D.exe by a double-click. current BIOS R01-A1D: Solved problems: - none Known errors, problems and restrictions: - After finishing BIOS flash in DOS mode the system is automatically rebooting. But before entering the BIOS’ POST screen it will automatically shut down. This only occurs with the first reboot after BIOS has been updated in DOS environment. - If a supervisor password is set and the BIOS setup is left by choosing the option "Exit Discard Changes" the password will still persist. Additional information: - This is an initial BIOS - The DOS BIOS flash procedure contains an AC adapter interrogation; that means that the flash procedure will only start if an AC- adapter is connected. If no AC- adapter is connected a message will hint to plug an AC adapter to the system.
